 ‘Adventure’ Environment
Leeds University has its own ‘adventure’
centre at Selside Centre, North Yorkshire.
From this base we can provide teams with a
challenging environment to help them build
strong inter-personal relationships and teams
can experiment with different kinds of thinking.
Groups can explore new ways of operating.
One team came to us because they were
planning to develop their (software) product
range and take those new products to
new markets. We developed a programme
which challenged them by taking them
gradually into new environments to simulate
the new markets. The ‘adventure’ setting
gave them the opportunity to build their
confidence and explore how they would enter
new markets with new products.
